YAR (Youth Advancing Research)

Who is eligible? 


Advanced college students, graduate students, and recent graduates are eligible for the competitive yearlong Fellowship program (approximately 20-25 years old, though IAAB will accept applications from exceptional individuals who are not within the age range). Students and recent graduates of Iranian heritage are particularly encouraged to apply, though non-Iranian applicants will also be accepted.

Application Requirements

The application includes two sections:

1. Online application, which must be submitted by no later than October 18, 2015 at 11:59pm EST.
2. Supplemental material mailed to IAAB office (see details below).

In addition to submitting the online application form below, please note that your application will not be complete unless you also submit the following:

- Official transcript from your university (and graduate program, if applicable)
- Two letters of reference (one must be from an academic professor). The official transcript and the letters of reference must be postmarked by the application deadline, February 16, 2015. Letters and transcripts can be mailed to:
