Volunteer
We offer volunteer opportunities for our events. Current volunteer openings range from camp counselor positions to summer internship opportunities.

Internship
Iranian Alliances Across Borders offers unpaid internships, availability subject to the needs of the organization. The Internship application is released in August and interns are selected and notified by late September. Students may obtain college credits for their internship with IAAB.
Qualifications:
IAAB seeks dynamic, self-directed individuals with excellent written and spoken communication skills, a highly organized approach to work, and proficiency in the use of computers. A working knowledge of Persian is a plus, but not a requirement. Interns should be committed to IAAB's goals of building alliances and furthering dialogue. IAAB's internal structure operates a great deal like a family or very close knit team; in this sense, interns should be collaborative, and always strive for excellence in teamwork, communication, and work quality.
Responsibilities:
Interns work in conjunction with IAAB staff on IAAB's programs. Interns work on various IAAB projects dedicated to raising awareness and promoting leadership, and will collaborate closely with Iranian-American organizations across the country. Interns assist with program implementation, database management, research, community outreach, event planning, logistical support for staff activities, and other administrative duties.
